  • Wardrobe Photos: To build your virtual closet, you upload photos of your clothes. These images are stored securely on our cloud infrastructure and processed by our AI algorithms to segment the clothing items and generate recommendations.
  • Location Data: To suggest weather-appropriate outfits, we require access to your device's geographical location. This data is only checked dynamically to fetch current local weather and is not persistently tracked or stored.
  • Usage Data: We collect standard analytical data regarding how you interact with the app (e.g., button clicks, saved outfit counts) to improve performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our mobile application and website.
  • Understand and analyze how you use Clovy to improve your experience.
  • Generate AI-driven daily outfit recommendations tailored to your style and local weather conditions.
  • Manage your secure virtual closet catalog and synchronize it across your devices.
  • Send you service notifications, security updates, and customer support communications.
  • Prevent fraudulent activities and maintain data safety.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your privacy and the security of your data are extremely important to us. All account profiles, wardrobe photos, and custom fits are securely hosted on encrypted cloud systems. We implement state-of-the-art administrative, technical, and physical security measures to safeguard your personal details against unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction.

Please note that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, but we strive to use industry-standard security protocols to protect your personal details.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, trade, or distribute your personal details or uploaded wardrobe photos to third-party advertising companies. We only share information with trusted third-party providers in the following necessary contexts:

  • Cloud Providers: Secure hosting and storage systems (e.g., Firebase Auth, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage) to persist your account and wardrobe catalog.
  • Weather Services: Sending anonymous location coordinates to API providers to fetch regional weather forecasts.
  • Analytical Tools: Secure, anonymous event trackers to measure crash rates and app stability.

5. Your Rights and Choices

You have full ownership of your data within Clovy. Depending on your location, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access and Export: You can view all your uploaded clothes and saved fits inside the app at any time.
  • Correction: You can edit clothing categories or metadata in your virtual closet.
  • Deletion: You can delete specific wardrobe photos, or permanently delete your entire account and all associated wardrobe images at any time directly through the app settings.

6. Children's Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

Clovy does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our app, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately, after they are posted on this page.
